Front Desk and Customer Service Attendant

Main Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide services to members and visitors of the marina, including:

  • Assisting with boat docking.
  • Managing phone calls and reservations.
  • Operating cash registers and processing card payments.
  • Fuel pumping and septic tank emptying.
  • Ensuring security, and maintaining the premises and equipment.
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned by the manager and/or personnel director.
    Training is provided.

The candidate must demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills (basic bilingualism is an asset).
  • A sense of responsibility and willingness to learn (continuous training offered).
  • Customer care focus.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to various situations.
  • Physical strength (to assist with boat docking).

Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Education Level: High school diploma.
  • Experience: Customer service experience is an asset.
  • Skills: Friendly demeanor, positive attitude, responsibility, initiative, honesty.
  • Languages: Spoken and written French; English proficiency is an asset.
  • Additional Assets: First aid certification.

Wage Offered: $16.25/hour (+ tips), with variable schedules (daytime, evening, weekends).
Employment Status: Seasonal, with the possibility of returning the following year.
Duration: 5 months (flexible for students).
Start Date: May 2025.
